Identity Programs are research-based, both at the national level through the Girls Inc. National Resource Center in Indianapolis, IN, and locally through pre- and post-surveys of girls to gauge learning. Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley offers these programs in schools, both during and after the school day, and in community centers, reaching girls from all backgrounds and socio-economic levels. Programs are facilitated by trained female role models in our communities, often times with backgrounds in education or social service. Girls Inc. Identity Programs encourge girls to take risks and master physical, intellectual, and emotional challenges. |
