About the Program
When: Every Wednesday • 3:00 - 4:30 PM • September 28th, 2022 - March 8th, 2023
Location: Shasta High School
The GINSV "Girls Make It: Entrepreneurship & Business Development" program will teach high school girls, grades 9-12, the steps of developing a business from the ground up, all the way to production and in the final stages, analyzing their success. Girls will learn how to develop a business plan, design a product, manufacture their product, and then they will market and "sell it" to students, teachers, and staff. Participants will earn gift cards and other incentives as "pay", as they will hold various job titles throughout the semester while they produce and sell a real product for actual profit. This program is STEM focused, primarily on Advanced Manufacturing, with an added business component.
*Class will not be in session on Nov. 23rd, Dec. 28th, Jan. 4th, & Feb. 22nd for school breaks.
