About the Program

Location: Pacheco Elementary & Junior High School
In this Healthy Living and Peer-Education program, girls will learn healthy ways to manage stress and confront peer, media, and other pressures and then assume the roles of PEERsuaders for young girls. With support from their Girls Inc. Facilitator, we will also discuss the importance of physical activity, a positive body image, healthy eating habits, + that stress management is a normal part of life. Girls will gain the skills, knowledge, and support needed to resist the use of legal and illicit substances, as well as build a sisterhood of support, gain leadership skills, and have fun!
*Class will not be in session on November 15th and November 22nd.
