Kellina Kamp: Building Confidence, Courage, and Possibility at Girls Inc. NSV

At Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley, every girl deserves someone who believes in her potential before she believes in it herself. As Project Coordinator and Learning Facilitator, Kellina Kamp is passionate about helping girls discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Rooted in Compassion

Originally born in Maui, Hawaiʻi, and raised in Redding, California, Kellina earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Monterey Bay. Her education, paired with a genuine desire to help others, inspired a career dedicated to supporting young people as they grow into confident, resilient individuals.

Before joining Girls Inc. NSV, Kellina worked in a group home supporting youth through difficult life experiences. Those experiences reinforced her belief that every child deserves encouragement, stability, and opportunities to thrive.

Empowering Every Girl

As Project Coordinator and Learning Facilitator, Kellina creates meaningful opportunities for girls to discover their voices, build confidence, and step outside their comfort zones. Whether she’s leading engaging activities, celebrating personal victories, or encouraging girls to try something new, her goal is always the same—to help every girl recognize just how capable she truly is.

Kellina believes that when girls are surrounded by positive role models and supportive experiences, they gain the confidence to dream bigger, overcome challenges, and become leaders in their schools, families, and communities.

Strength Beyond the Classroom

Outside of Girls Inc., Kellina enjoys weightlifting and appreciates the discipline, perseverance, and confidence it builds both inside and outside the gym. She also loves spending time with her energetic two-year-old pit bull, who keeps life full of adventure and reminds her to embrace every moment.
