Youth Leadership Council

The Girls Inc. NSV Youth Leadership Council is a leadership body composed of local high school girls aged 14-18 (grades 9-12) who advise and inform Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley (NSV). Members share their life experiences and perspectives on issues facing girls in their communities, providing invaluable insights to our organization.

With the support of community women, and council members we will:

  • Develop Leadership Skills: Engage in activities that build their leadership capabilities.
  • Realize Their Power: Understand their roles as valuable community resources and trustees of the common good.
Monthly Meetings

The council meets monthly and runs through the end of the school year. Additionally, we have options to continue participation into the next school year, fostering long-term development and engagement.
