Shannon Mack: Creating Meaningful Experiences for Every Girl at Girls Inc. NSV
At Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley, life-changing programs begin with caring people who believe in the potential of every girl. As Program Manager, Shannon Mack leads with compassion, creativity, and a genuine commitment to creating experiences that help girls grow into strong, smart, and bold leaders.
A Passion for Youth Development
A longtime Redding resident, Shannon has dedicated much of her career to education and youth development. She joined Girls Inc. NSV in 2022 as a Program Facilitator, where her enthusiasm, leadership, and ability to connect with both girls and staff quickly made a lasting impact. Her dedication to the organization’s mission led to her promotion to Program Manager, where she now oversees the planning, implementation, and continual growth of programs that serve girls throughout the North State.
Helping Girls Discover Their Strengths
Shannon believes every girl deserves a safe, supportive place where she can learn, build confidence, and discover her unique potential. She works closely with staff, community partners, and families to ensure Girls Inc. programs provide meaningful experiences that encourage leadership, resilience, healthy decision-making, and lifelong learning.
Whether she’s developing new program opportunities, supporting her team, or celebrating the accomplishments of the girls, Shannon’s goal is to create an environment where every participant feels encouraged to dream big and believe in herself.
Serving the Community
Shannon’s commitment to serving others extends beyond Girls Inc. She is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Redding – Sundial and participates in community initiatives that support children and families throughout the North State. Her involvement reflects her belief that strong communities are built when people come together to invest in the next generation.
Finding Joy in Family and the Outdoors
Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and children, exploring the forests and outdoor beauty of Northern California. Whether hiking local trails or enjoying family adventures, she values the balance and connection that nature provides.
Shannon is proud to help create programs where girls feel supported, challenged, and inspired to become confident leaders. Every day, she is honored to play a role in helping girls discover that they are capable of achieving more than they ever imagined.
