At Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley, our mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold is driven by dedicated professionals like Shannon Mack, our esteemed Program Manager.
A Lifelong Educator and Community Advocate
A longtime resident of Redding, California, Shannon has devoted the majority of her career to the field of education. Her passion for youth development and commitment to fostering positive change led her to join Girls Inc. NSV in 2022 as a Program Facilitator. Recognized for her leadership and dedication, she was promoted to Program Manager, where she now oversees the development and implementation of programs that empower young girls throughout the region.
Deeply Rooted in Community Engagement
Beyond her role at Girls Inc., Shannon is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Redding – Sundial, participating in community events such as the annual Shakeoff fundraiser . She also contributes to public health advocacy through her involvement with the Shasta County Tobacco Education Coalition, demonstrating her commitment to creating a healthier community for all.
Embracing the Outdoors with Family
When she’s not leading programs or volunteering, Shannon cherishes spending quality time with her husband and children. Together, they enjoy hiking and exploring the forests of Northern California, embracing the natural beauty of their surroundings and the joy of shared adventures.
