On North State Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, we invite you to join a movement that transforms lives and strengthens our community. This14-hour (6AM-8PM) online giving event provides a powerful opportunity to invest in the future of girls across Shasta and Tehama Counties.
Your contribution to Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley directly supports research-based programs that help girls build confidence, achieve academic success, and develop the leadership skills needed to thrive. With your generosity, we can continue to deliver high-impact programming that empowers girls to grow up Strong, Smart, and Bold.

- $50 provides hands-on STEM learning opportunities for girls in our after-school program.
- $100 supports leadership workshops that help girls find their voice and advocate for change.
- $250 funds mentorship and life skills training that prepare girls for success in school and beyond.

North State Giving Tuesday isn’t just about giving — it’s about creating momentum and celebrating generosity across our region. This year, your support for Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley (Girl Inc. NSV) can go even further thanks to a variety of special prize opportunities and matching incentives. Every donation, share, and show of support helps us unlock even more funds to empower local girls to be Strong, Smart, and Bold.
🐻 Shout Out & “A-Paws” Contest
Thanks to the friends at Black Bear Diner, supporters can help us win additional prize money just by voting!
- Voting opens November 1–30
- One vote per person – Link available in November
- The top three nonprofits with the most votes win bonus funds toward their Giving Tuesday total!
Winners will be announced on December 2 at 8 a.m. on social media. Help us spread the word and rally our community!
⏰ Hourly Sponsor Prizes
Throughout Giving Tuesday, 14 hourly sponsors will each award $1,000 to one participating nonprofit. Every hour offers a new chance to win — and a new reason to cheer for our community partners who make this event possible.
💬 Most Unique Donors Per Hour
You don’t have to give a lot to make a big difference! Each hour, the nonprofit with the most unique donors (individual people giving) will earn an extra $1,000 toward their total. Every single donor counts — so invite your friends, family, and coworkers to join in!
⭐ Gold Star Club
Attention to detail pays off! From organizations that completed all application materials correctly, three will be randomly selected to receive $500 Gold Star prizes.
💯 100% Board Giving Challenge
When every board member of Girls Inc. NSV participates, great things happen. Nonprofits that achieve 100% board giving during the event will be entered into a random drawing for $1,000 each. This challenge celebrates leadership and commitment — and inspires others to follow suit.
⚡ Power Hours
Want to make your gift go even further? Give during a Power Hour to help Girls Inc. NSV earn a share of a $15,000 bonus pool!
Power Hours happen at:
- 11:00 AM
- 3:00 PM
- 7:00 PM
The more we raise during these hours, the greater the percentage we’ll earn from the bonus pool — stretching your donation and multiplying your impact!
