Meet Program Facilitator Courtney Velin
Meet Courtney Velin: Program Facilitator, Veteran, and Advocate for the Next Generation
We’re excited to introduce Courtney Velin, a passionate Program Facilitator at Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley whose diverse background and deep sense of purpose shape the powerful impact she has on the girls we serve.
Courtney brings a unique blend of life experience and leadership to her role. After proudly serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, she transitioned into the tech industry, where she developed a strong foundation in innovation, adaptability, and strategic thinking. Her career journey reflects a commitment to growth, service, and excellence in every chapter.
Motivated by a deep desire to give back, Courtney eventually turned her focus to community and nonprofit work—channeling her skills and experiences into programs that empower youth. As a Girls Inc. Program Facilitator, she mentors girls to discover their strengths, embrace challenges, and step boldly into their potential.
“Empowering girls isn’t just about helping them succeed,” Courtney says. “It’s about giving them the tools and the confidence to lead, dream big, and change their communities.”
Whether she’s leading a group discussion, organizing activities, or offering one-on-one encouragement, Courtney brings heart, structure, and inspiration to every interaction.
We’re proud to have Courtney as part of our Girls Inc. team, helping girls become strong, smart, and bold—inside and out.
