Meet Stacy Pohlmeyer: Advocate, Entrepreneur, and Girls Inc. Board Member

We’re proud to introduce Stacy Pohlmeyer, a passionate community advocate and board member at Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley. Born and raised in Redding, Stacy’s deep roots in the region and unwavering commitment to service have shaped both her professional journey and her mission to uplift others—especially young women.

Helping others has always been a core part of who Stacy is. After building a thriving 25-year career in the cosmetology industry, where she developed a loyal clientele of over 250 people, Stacy shifted her focus toward business and finance. She earned a degree in Business Administration/Management and now works in the financial sector, holding multiple licenses including the Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7, 63, 65, and California Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses.

Stacy joined the Girls Inc. NSV Board of Directors to give back to the community that raised her. Her goal is to help young girls grow into strong, smart, and bold women by providing the guidance, confidence, and support they need to reach their full potential. Her leadership and mentorship bring valuable perspective to the Girls Inc. mission.

Outside of her professional and volunteer work, Stacy is a proud mother of three sons and two bonus daughters. Together, they enjoy making the most of the beautiful Northern California outdoors—hiking, skiing, biking, and swimming. Stacy is also active in Business Networking International (BNI) and regularly supports her husband’s Rotary chapter.

With her entrepreneurial spirit, financial expertise, and dedication to youth empowerment, Stacy continues to be a powerful force for good in the Redding community. We’re grateful for her voice, her leadership, and her unwavering passion for creating a brighter future for all.
